* What is DENIER?

DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread from which stockings and tights are made.

The lower the DENIER number 8, 10, 15, 20 etc., the thinner and more transparent the stocking or pantyhose. Conversely, the higher the number 40, 70 etc., the thicker the material and the less visible the skin is.

On the other hand, there are opaque microfiber tights and pantyhose in 50 and 100 den, where the skin is barely visible. These are commonly used in autumn and winter.

Tights and stockings with a low DEN number are usually used for the spring-summer season. The rest can be used all year round, for example for ceremonies, as the thinness of the stockings makes them appear more elegant.
