* What is DENIER?

DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread used to make stockings and tights.

The lower the DENIER number 8, 10, 15, 20 etc., the thinner and more transparent the stocking or pantyhose is. Conversely, the higher the number 40, 70 etc., the thicker the material is, and the skin is less visible.

On the other hand, there are opaque microfiber tights and pantyhose in 50 and 100 den, where the skin is barely visible. Their use is common in autumn and winter.

Tights and stockings with a low DEN number are usually used for the spring-summer season. The rest can be used all year round, for example for ceremonies, as the stockings look more elegant due to their thinness.
