* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread used to make stockings and tights.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the thinner and more transparent the stocking or tight. Conversely, the higher the DENIER number (40, 70, etc.), the thicker the stocking or tight and less skin is visible.
