Toy Cleaning Tips

Proper care of your love toys significantly extends their lifespan and ensures safe, hygienic use. With these simple instructions, your toys will stay like new.

1. Immediate cleaning after use
  • The right time: It is best to clean your toy directly after every use, before residue from body fluids or lubricant can dry.
  • Warm water and soap: Rinse the toy under running, lukewarm water. Use a mild, fragrance-free, medical-grade soap.
  • Important for electronics: For toys with a charging port, pay close attention to the manufacturer's instructions. Waterproof toys (IPX7 or higher) can be cleaned completely underwater. Splash-proof toys must only be wiped clean with a damp cloth – water must not get into the charging port.
2. Disinfection for maximum hygiene
  • Use a toy cleaner: After cleaning, spray the toy with a special alcohol-free sex toy cleaner.
  • Let it work: Let the cleaner take effect according to the manufacturer's instructions (usually 1–2 minutes).
  • Remove residue: Afterwards, wipe the toy with a clean, damp cloth or rinse it briefly with clear water to remove loosened particles.
  • Note: Never use aggressive household cleaners, hand sanitizer, or alcohol. These destroy the sensitive surface (especially medical-grade silicone) and can lead to skin irritation.
3. Drying and storage
  • Lint-free drying: Pat the toy dry with a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g., a microfiber cloth). Avoid using standard toilet paper or paper towels, as they leave lint and residue on the material.
  • Air dry: Let the toy air dry completely for a few more minutes before storing it.
  • Separate storage: Store your toys in a dry, dust-free, and dark place (e.g., in a cotton or satin pouch).
  • Important: Never store toys made of silicone or CyberSkin so that they touch each other directly.

4. Special feature: Realistic materials (TPE / CyberSkin)
  • If you own toys made of TPE or CyberSkin, they will need some refreshing powder (or pure cornstarch) after drying.
  • Dust the toy lightly to prevent the surface from becoming sticky and attracting dust.
